1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) For quashing the memo No. 481 dated 25.02.2022 passed by Respondent No.-8 by which the petitioner has been dismissed from service in departmental proceeding.

(ii) For quashing the entire departmental proceeding because it has been conducted in violation of Principle of natural justice and established rules have not been followed."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.4834 of 2024(2) dt.04-04-2024 2/2 has submitted by referring to paragraph no.33 of the present writ petition that the petitioner has already filed an appeal, before the Director General of Police, Government of Bihar, Patna dated 16.11.2022, hence the same be directed to be disposed off, within a period a stipulated time frame.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid appeal is still pending, the same would definitely be disposed off, within a stipulated time frame.

4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the Director General of Police, Government of Bihar, Patna to dispose off the aforesaid appeal filed by the petitioner, in case the same is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
