Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned APP for the State.
The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 17.07.2019, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 29419 of 2019, by which the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail.
It is submitted that due to non-presence of the petitioner in Bihar, he could not surrender in the court below and furnish the bail bond within the stipulated time.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12262 of 2022(2) dt.06-07-2022 2/2 For the reasons disclosed in the application, it is allowed and the time granted by order dated 17.07.2019, passed in Cr. Misc.No.29419 of 2019 for surrender of the petitioner and furnishing bail bond is extended by four weeks from today, subject to deposit of Rs. 5,000/- to the District Legal Services Authority. At the time of surrender, the petitioners shall furnish the receipt showing deposit of Rs. 5,000/- to the District Legal Services Authority.
Office shall ensure that all the defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time provided in para 1 hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
