JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 10-04-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief :- "(1) For issuance an appropriate writ in the. nature of CERTIORARI for quashing the order dated 02.11.2016 passed by Executive officer Nagar Parishad, Lakhisarai in Miscellaneous Case No. 03/2016-17 whereby and where under the Petitioner was directed to change the direction of the drainage (Naali) of his house towards East to South and further directed to shut the door of the house which open in eastern side.
(2) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of "MANDAMUS" commanding and
Patna High Court CWJC No.19622 of 2016(2) dt.10-04-2023 2/2 directing the Respondents Authorities to immediately open the drainage (Naali) of the house of the petitioner and also to open the door of eastern side."
After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies, as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty so sought, is granted.
