2. The present MJC is filed for non-compliance of the order dated 14.09.2021 passed in CWJC No. 15449 of 2021. Directions of this Court is to complete the confiscation proceedings within 30 days from 14.09.2021 whereas confiscation order has been passed on 16.11.2021. The petitioner has not preferred appeal before the appellate authority

Patna High Court MJC No.340 of 2022 dt.20-03-2024 2/2 against the confiscation order under Section 92 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Thereafter, the official respondent proceeded to auction the subject matter of motor vehicle on 05.03.2022. The petitioner has also not questioned the validity of auction proceedings. Taking note of these development there is belated compliance to the order dated 14.09.2021 passed in CWJC No. 15449 of 2021. Accordingly, the present MJC stands dropped, reserving liberty to the petitioner to invoke appropriate remedy.
