Petitioners seek bail in connection with Narpatganj P.S. Case No.85 of 2017 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 342, 323, 324, 325, 307, 332, 333, 353, 427, 452, 379, 224, 225, 337, 338, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, petitioners had attacked on the police personnel and set free the apprehended accused Md. Iliyas from lawful custody of the police. It has also been alleged that the accused persons snatched the mobile phone of some police personnel. They also tried to snatch the fire arms of the police personnel and damaged the police vehicle.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the allegations are general and omnibus in nature.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24248 of 2017 (02) dt.22-05-2017 - 2 - Petitioners are languishing in jail custody since 17.03.2017. In the facts and circumstances, the petitioners abovenamed be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Narpatganj P.S.
