This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Atri P.S. Case No. 360 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 196, 197, 198, 199, 201 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner at the relevant point of time was Mukhiya of a Gram Panchayat. She has been implicated on the allegation that some of the persons selected for appointment as Panchayat Teacher possessed forged certificates of passing of B.E.T.E.T.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner contends that there is no allegation that the petitioner, as one of the members of the selection committee, allowed any forged certificates to be accepted as genuine intentionally.

Let the petitioner above named, in the event of his arrest/surrender within six weeks from today in the Court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-III, Gaya in Atri P.S. Case No. 360 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. This is subject to the condition that the petitioner shall present herself before the Police/Court, as the case may be, as and when required and in the event of failure on her part to appear before the Court on two consecutive occasions, her bail bonds shall be liable to be cancelled.
