Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(A) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
23 liters of liquor was recovered from possession of the petitioner while travelling in a bus.
Submission is that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. The liquor was not of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 09.01.2020. There is no material to substantiate that the petitioner is going to tamper with the evidence or hamper the trial.
Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12108 of 2020(2) dt.29-02-2020 2/2 after completion of investigation on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Sherghati (Dobhi)Police Station Case No.09 of 2020, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
