====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-04-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.
2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 147, 148, 149, 448, 323, 324, 307, 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner is alleged to have inflicted farsa blow on the head of informant's daughter-inlaw.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that earlier prayer for pre-arest bail of the petitioner was permitted to be withdrawn by this Court on 9.11.2017, passed in Cr.Mis.No. 53612/2017. Petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail on the ground that during pendency of case, parties have compromised the case and do not wish to proceed any further. Petitioner is alleged to have caused swelling on forehead of informant's daughter-in-law and nature of injury has been kept reserved by doctor. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioner, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17263 of 2025(3) dt.17-04-2025 2/2 like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in Shikarpur Police Station Case No. 412 of 2015, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
