The petitioner has challenged the order dated 19.12.2014 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sikrahana at Motihari, East Champaran in Complaint Case No. 688 of 2013 whereby cognizance has been taken under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code. This Court is not aware about the stage of the case. However, if the trial has not concluded, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach the concerned

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14004 of 2015(2) dt.09-05-2019 2/2 Court for referring the matter to the mediation centre. Such a petition could be filed either individually or jointly with the complainant/O.P. No. 2.

If the parties have resolved their differences, such information also could be brought to the notice of this Court for concluding the proceedings.

In any view of the matter, this Court, at this stage, without any knowledge about the developments of this case, would not like to interfere with the order of cognizance.

The petition stands dismissed with the aforesaid observation.
