Patna High Court CWJC No.9263 of 2021 dt.17-02-2022 2/2 In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief(s):- "(i) For direction be issued to the respondent No. 2 the Chairman Staff Selection Commission to appoint the petitioners who have completed entire selection process on the post of Constable (G.D.) in para Military Forces in consonance with increasedvacancies1,11,000/-as declared by the Hon'ble Minister (Stan) Ministry of Home Affairs Mr. Nityanand Rai in his speech in the Parliament.

(ii) For any other relief or reliefs as your Lordships may deem fit and proper in the facts and Circumstances of the case."

The petitioner's claim is with reference to statement made by the Hon'ble Minister, Ministry of Home Affairs in the Parliament and gist of a news item in the newspaper, petitioner is not entitle to a direction to the State Government. Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed reserving liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate representation before the competent authority.
