2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Giriyak P.S. Case No. 596 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 115(2), 114(4), 140(3), 3(5) of the BNS.

3. As per the prosecution case, the victim Sodi Singh is alleged to have been kidnapped by the accused persons. During investigation, the victim has said that he has cheated one Sonu Kumar of more than Rs. 10 lakhs and because of the same he was called to Bihar and thereafter Sonu and others took him away and they wanted their money back.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 31.12.2025.

5. Considering the facts of the case and the fact that that the victim has himself accepted that he is involved in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15775 of 2026(2) dt.16-03-2026 2/2 cheating, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Giriyak P.S.
