Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-B)A, 25-1A, 25-1AA, 25-1AAA of the Arms Act.
The petitioner was apprehended along with a stolen motorcycle and on search a loaded country made pistol was also recovered along with cartridge.
Petitioner is in custody since 15.03.2017.
Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail for the present in connection with Sadar Police Station Case No. 134 of 2015 pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24063 of 2017 (3) dt.20-06-2017 2/2 Hence, prayer for bail is refused.
The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after completion of nine months of custody if the trial is not concluded in the meantime.
