JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 20-09-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State. Petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 354(B), 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that these petitioners, armed with sharp weapons, tried to commit rape on the minor daughter of the informant.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case as the alleged occurrence took place on 19.9.2021, whereas FIR was lodged on 2.10.2021, i.e., delay of twelve days and there is no plausible explanation of delay. Petitioners have got no criminal antecedent.
