ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 27-02-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner is in custody since 14.09.2017 in connection with Konch P.S. Case No.212 of 2017 registered for the offences under Sections 395 and 397 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that admittedly, the petitioner's name has surfaced on the confessional statement made before the police, which has no evidentiary value. It is further submitted that there is no recovery from the possession of the petitioner and he has no criminal antecedents.

In view of the aforementioned facts and
