This application for regular bail arises out of Bihar P.S. Case No. 392 of 2017, for the offences punishable under Sections 399, 402, 414 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 25(1B)A, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act. Petitioner's prayer for regular bail was earlier rejected by an order dated 28.02.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 10297 of 2020. He had renewed his prayer for bail by making this application.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that considering his long incarceration, his case for grant of regular bail may be considered. He has further submitted that other co-accused persons have been allowed regular bail by this Court.

While rejecting the petitioner's earlier prayer for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23383 of 2021(2) dt.28-07-2021 2/2 regular bail by the aforesaid order dated 28.02.2020, the petitioner's long antecedent has been taken note of. From the said order, it appears that the petitioner has been made accused in several cases disclosing commission of serious offence. Considering the petitioner's criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to grant him privilege of regular bail for the present. This application is dismissed accordingly. The petitioner shall be at liberty, however, to renew his prayer for bail after six months, if, in the meanwhile, no charge is framed. (Chakradhari Sharan Singh, J) Pawan/- U T
