The petitioner seeks bail in Khutauna P.S. Case No. 66 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 401, 413 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has committed no offence and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner was not arrested on the spot. His name has transpired in the confessional statement of coaccused Keshav Yadav who has already been allowed bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr.Misc.No.11757 of 2017 vide order dated 15.03.2017. The petitioner is in custody since 23.10.2016.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25115 of 2017 (2) dt.06-06-2017 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-1st Class, Jhanjharpur, Madhubani in connection with Khutauna P.S. Case No.66 of 2016 (G.R. No. 1670 of 2016).
