The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offence punishable under Section 47(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioner was not present at the time of recovery of liquor. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. The petitioner is in custody since 29.12.2018. Investigation of the case is complete.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17069 of 2019(2) dt.10-04-2019 2/2 where the case is pending in connection with Darauli P.S. Excise Case No.C-II-271/2013, Tr. No.770 of 2019, with condition that petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
