2. The petitioner is in custody since 24.10.2017 in connection with Deodha P.S. Case No. 101 of 2017 (CRI Case No. 1994 of 2017) for the offences alleged under Sections 25(1-B) A/26/35 of the Arms Act.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in connection with alleged recovery of one country made pistol with five live cartridges in a magazine, another magazine which was loaded with five cartridges and some currency notes from the house of one co-accused Ram Dayal Thakur on the basis of confessional statement of the petitioner.

4. Having regard to the nature of the accusations,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6453 of 2018 (2) dt.06-02-2018 gravity of the offence alleged as well as the recovery said to have been made on the basis of confessional statement of the petitioner and the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of bail to the petitioner at this stage. The bail petition stands dismissed.
