In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 171 of 2016 registered for offences under sections 302 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code. Earlier the petitioner had moved before this Court with a prayer for bail in Cr. Misc. No. 39339 of 2016 but, this Court, vide order dated 22.10.2016 rejected the same. This Court had called for a report from the court below. From perusal of the report dated 7.7.2017, it appears that the case has been committed to the court of sessions. At this stage, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner but, gives a direction to the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24751 of 2017 (5) dt.31-01-2018 Presiding Officer to conclude the trial within a period of nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. In failure to conclude the same, the Presiding Officer will submit the report to this Court.

If the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period of nine months, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail before this Court.
