The petitioner seeks bail in Khodawandpur P.S. Case No.62 of 2011 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant lodged the case against unknown for murder of his son Arjun Kumar. During the course of investigation, on mere suspicion the name of the petitioner and others figured in the case. It also transpired that the deceased has illicit relation with the daughter of one Chandra Shekhar Mahto. The petitioner happens to be the nephew of Chandra Shekhar Mahto, but there is no tangible evidence to show the involvement of this petitioner in the murder of the deceased. Similarly situated co-accused Sunil Kumar, Bhola Chaudhary, Chandra Shekhar

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21786 of 2017 (3) dt.20-06-2017 Mahto and Ram Uday Mahto have already been enlarged on bail. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10, 000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Manjhaul, District-Begusarai in connection with Khodawandpur P.S. Case No.62 of 2011.
