Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26(2) of the Arms Act and Sections 16, 17, 18 and 20 of the U.A.P. Act. Submission is that a pistol and three cartridges are alleged to have been recovered from possession of this petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 13.05.2017. Petitioner has got criminal antecedent of identical nature.

The report of the learned trial Judge would reveal that there is no chance of start of trial in near future, hence, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of one year of custody or after framing of charge whichever is earlier on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty
