This application for regular bail arises out of Saharsa P.S. Case No. 1019 of 2019 disclosing the offence punishable under Sections 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner is in custody since 22.08.2020. The informant has alleged in the F.I.R. that while co-accused Prajjwal Thakur had caught hold of him, the petitioner made indiscriminate firing leading to fire-arm injury caused in his thigh. The injury report supports the case of the prosecution. Considering the fact that the petitioner is the main assailant, I am not inclined to grant him regular bail for the
