JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 28-02-2025 The present petition is filed for modification of the order dated 28.08.2024 passed in Cr. Miscellaneous No. 51368 of 2024 whereby and whereunder while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner and the co-accused brother of the petitioner, it was ordered that in the event of arrest or surrender before the court concerned within a period of eight weeks from the date of order, the petitioners would be released on bail subject to certain conditions.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner could not surrender before the learned trial court as his co-accused brother who was also granted bail by the same order died and the petitioner got busy in his last rites. Learned

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14300 of 2025(3) dt.28-02-2025 2/2 counsel further submits that time for surrender may extended.

3. In the light of the submission made on behalf of the petitioner, order dated 28.08.2024 passed in Cr. Miscellaneous No. 51368 of 2024 is modified and the petitioner is directed to surrender before the court concerned within eight weeks from today while other terms and condition of the order dated 28.08.2024 shall remain same.
