The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Mirganj P.S. Case No. 17 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273, 420, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of huge quantity of illicit liquor from a truck in which the petitioner and one other co-accused person was sitting.

The learned counsel for the petitioner referring to paragraph 7 of the petition has stated that since the petitioner is a truck driver, he was not knowing as to what articles have been

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II cum Special Judge (Excise), Gopalganj in connection with Mirganj P.S.
