JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 11-06-2020 The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Cheriya Bariyarpur P. S. Case No. 180 of 2019 dated 01.12.2019 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

There is a huge recovery of illicit liquor from a vehicle. The name of the petitioner has transpired during the course of investigation through the mouth of an arrested accused person, namely, Babu Saheb.

The petitioner has clean antecedents.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14906 of 2020(2) dt.11-06-2020 2/2 in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Begusarai in connection with Cheriya Bariyarpur P. S. Case No. 180 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
