This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Bhagalpur G.R.P.S. Case No.186 of 2016, for the offences under Sections 25(1-A)26 (i) of the Arms Act. Allegation against this petitioner is about recovery of one Pistol and six cartridges.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has been falsely implicated in this case. The petitioner is in custody for about seven months and so far antecedent of the petitioner is concerned, he is on bail in all those cases. Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of allegation as well as

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24606 of 2017 (3) dt.10-07-2017 2/2 criminal antecedent of the petitioner, at this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of six months and if not concluded, the petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
