2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 319, 318(4) and 111 of BNS and Section 66(D) of I.T. Act.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner who was earlier informant of this case, has stated that one Abhimanyu Kumar who is known to him, demanded his atm card and his mobile number as his account was closed. Abhimanyu was accompanied with one Rahul. Rahul Kumar returned the mobile number on 17.07.2024 disclosing that the Bank Manager is calling regularly. On 20.07.2024, a call was received from IDBI Bank Manager that huge amount has been withdrawn from the account of this petitioner to the tune of Rs.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13006 of 2026(2) dt.18-04-2026 2/3 one crore, thirty six lakhs and odd between 21.05.2024 to 20.07.2024.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that during course of investigation, Abhimanyu and Rahul have given their confessional statement and they have stated that the petitioner is also involved in the cyber fraud. Learned counsel has submitted that initially, he was informant and he has complained regarding fraud committed with him but only on the basis of confessional statement of accused persons, he has been made accused in this case. A statement has been made in para-3 of this petition that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Moreover, he is languishing in judicial custody since 19.11.2025.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of regular bail.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Cyber P.S. Case No. 22 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount
