The present writ application has been filed for a direction to respondent no.2, the Chief Executive Officer, Bhartiye Rail Bijlee Company Limited to get the encroachment removed from the land of the petitioner appertaining to Khata No. 40, Plot Nos. 281, 277, 309, 240, 8, 365 and 10, Khata No.3, Plot nos. 17, 18,19 and 128.

It is very fairly submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that now the petitioner has sold the land in question in favour of respondent no.2, the Chief Executive Officer, Bhartiye Rail Bijlee Company Limited (A joint venture of NTPC and

Accordingly, the present writ application is disposed of as infructuous.

However, if the petitioner has any left over grievance, he is at liberty to approach appropriate forum for redressal of the same.
