2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 265 of 2024 dated 04.10.2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 352, 85, 89 of BNS and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused persons are alleged to have tortured the informant mentally and physically due to non-fulfillment of demand of motorcycle and chain as dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14006 of 2025(2) dt.21-03-2025 2/2 that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner who is husband of the informant. The petitioner neither demanded any dowry nor tortured the informant. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged offence. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated in para-3 of the bail petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 16.12.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, East Champaran in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 265 of 2024.

7. The application stands allowed.
