The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bakhtiyarpur P.S. Case No. 167 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b) a/26 of the Arms Act. The allegation is regarding recovery of one country made pistol and two live cartridges from the petitioner, when he was apprehended by the police.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that though the petitioner is accused in two other cases lodged against him for minor offences, but he is on bail in the said cases. The petitioner is languishing in custody since 29.04.2018.

No.12269 of 2019(2) dt.27-02-2019 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate at Saharsa in connection with Bakhtiyarpur P.S. Case No. 167 of 2018.
