The petitioner seeks bail in Katihar (Town) P.S. case No. 172 of 2017 under Section 8/ 20(b) (11) (B) of the NDPS Act and under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of Arms Act. On information, the police raided a room from where Uttam Singh, Md. Samim @ Samiya and Ashok Ravidas @ Chhatri were apprehended and on search different articles including Ganja were recovered. Uttam Singh disclosed that petitioner also helped him in transmitting Ganja. On such information, the house of petitioner was searched and petitioner was apprehended but from the house of petitioner nothing was recovered. From the possession of the petitioner one Samsung

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29194 of 2017 (2) dt.04-07-2017 2/2 mobile was recovered. The petitioner is in jail since 20.03.2017. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge (NDPS), Katihar in Katihar Town P.S. Case No. 172 of 2017.
