The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 21.10.2019 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 60929 of 2019 by this Court in connection with Excise Case No. 553 of 2019 arising out of Ghosi P.S. Case No. 171 of 2019, pending in the court of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Jehanabad, to the extent of extending the period of surrender of the petitioner in the court below.

The petitioner was granted the privilege of pre-arrest

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11812 of 2020(2) dt.07-07-2020 2/2 bail in the aforementioned case with a direction to surrender before the court below within a period of four six weeks from the date of the order dated 26.09.2019 but the petitioner failed to surrender in time in the court below.

On the grounds mentioned in the present modification application, the date of surrender of the petitioner in the court below is extended by four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in connection with the aforementioned case.

The order dated 21.10.2019 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 60929 of 2019 by this Court is modified to the above extent only.
