This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Pipra Police Station Case No. 218 of 2020, disclosing offences under Sections 406, 409, 420, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

As per allegation, serious irregularities have been found in Mukhyamantri Gramine Nali Pakkikaran Nischaya Yojna.

A three Members' Committee was constituted to enquire into the matter and in its report the complicity of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22579 of 2021(2) dt.25-01-2022 2/2 present petitioner, who is Panchayat Secretary was found. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the received amount has already been deposited. The name of the petitioner has been figured as one of the accused while inquiry, as such, it is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of this petitioner is hereby rejected.
