The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Samastipur (Rail) P.S. Case No. 17 of 2017, registered under Sections 30(A) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation leveled against the petitioner is with regard to the police receiving secret information pertaining to smuggling of liquor. Accordingly, the police is said to have conducted raid in the A.C. Coach bearing no. HA- 1 of Swatantrata Senani Super Fast Train, whereupon, the attendant started fleeing away. Further allegation is that the coach no. HA-1 was opened and several bottles of foreign liquor were recovered. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

It is further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 03.04.2017 and has no criminal antecedent. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. (R), Samastipur in connection with Samastipur (Rail) P.S. Case No. 17 of 2017.
