The petitioner seeks bail in Dumraon P.S. Case No. 277 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 307 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. The name of the petitioner has transpired in the confessional statement of co-accused Sumit Gupta who has already been granted bail by a co-ordinate bench of this Court vide order dated 15.11.2017 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 53103 of 2017. Petitioner is in custody since 17.10.2017.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15073 of 2018(3) dt.10-04-2018 2/2 the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar in connection with Dumraon P.S. Case No. 277 of 2017.
