The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Sarairanjan P.S. Case no. 220 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Section 366A and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code. The informant made allegation that while his minor daughter was going to urinate, the petitioner and one Nitesh Kumar forcibly seated her on motorcycle in order to kidnap her but the victim girl made alarm and the villagers came and apprehended Basant Kumar (the petitioner). Nitesh Kumar fled away and some how the petitioner also managed to flee away. It is submitted that there is a counter version, as the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16073 of 2015 (2) dt.28-04-2015 2/2 petitioner also filed Complaint Case No. 2456 of 2014, stating therein that when he was returning from his shop, the informant stopped him and assaulted.

Having considered the facts that it was the petitioner who made an attempt to kidnap the minor daughter of the informant, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J.) Rakhi/- U T
