Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307 and 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Wife of this petitioner died of burn injury within few years of her marriage in her matrimonial house. Father of the deceased is the informant of this case and he has alleged demand of dowry and torture for the same prior to the occurrence of dowry death.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 07.01.2016. The petitioner is ready to fully co-operate with the trial. Except the informant, no other witness has supported before the police regarding any illegal
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17343 of 2017 (4) dt.29-06-2017 2/2 demand and torture for the same as direct evidence. Considering the aforesaid material as well as the period already undergone by the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Banka/successor Court in connection with Bounsi Police Station Case No. 123 of 2015, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
