2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Uphara P.S. Case No. 09 of 2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 08/20 (a)(i) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. It has been stated in the FIR that the police received information that the petitioner is growing ganja beside his wall. Upon search, it was found by the raiding party that there were two plants which were around 5 ft and 4 ft of height respectively. The petitioner was apprehended on the spot while he was standing there and he has pleaded innocence about such plant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted at the Bar that the petitioner has no concern whatsoever with the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13958 of 2025(2) dt.19-03-2025 2/2 said plant which was outside the campus of the petitioner. No incriminating article was recovered from his body or from his house. The petitioner has clean antecedent and is in custody since 21.01.2025.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the bail application of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 1st District and Sessions Judge, Aurangabad in connection with Uphara P.S. Case No. 09 of 2025.
