JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 28-02-2020 The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special(Excise) Case No. 637 of 2019, arising out of Saharsa Sadar P.S. Case No. 1127 of 2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 37(C ) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioner is in custody since 30.12.2019 for having consumed some liquor which is prohibited in the State of Bihar after promulgating Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

Considering the period of custody and the nature of accusation against the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.
