1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has filed the instant application for modification of the order dated 19.9.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 61318 of 2024 whereby while granting bail to the petitioner in connection with Jamui Complaint Case no. 219C2 of 2013, he was directed to surrender in the learned Court below within a period of four weeks.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for reasons beyond his control, the petitioner could not surrender in the learned Court below within the time granted and as such this application. It is further submitted that pursuant to the order of this Court, the amount of Rs.5000/- has been deposited in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14828 of 2025(3) dt.04-04-2025 2/2 Patna High Court Legal Services Committee vide Receipt no. 2393 dated 2.4.2025 and a photocopy of the same has been filed.

4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the contents of the petition together with the submissions made, the Court is satisfied that the petitioner has made out a case for modification of the order dated 19.9.2024.

5. The order dated 19.9.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 61318 of 2024 granting bail to the petitioner in connection with Jamui Complaint Case no. 219C2 of 2013 is modified to the extent that the time granted to the petitioner to surrender in the learned Court below is extended by a further period of four weeks from today. The remaining part of the order shall remain unchanged.

6. The application stands allowed with the above modification.
