2. The present petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief(s):

"for issuance of a writ in nature of certiorari to quash the notice issued by the Respondent No. 3 issued by the competent

Patna High Court CWJC No.17394 of 2016(2) dt.19-08-2025 2/3 authority under the law by which the land of petitioners were acquired for Respondent No. 5 & 6. When during the acquisition no notice for acquisition was issued by the Respondents and without following the provisions of Land Acquisition Act (herein referred as "Act") and no step has been taken after filing the objection nor any order was communicated. The step has also not taken for Award in question and/or any other appropriate writs which the petitioners are entitled, and further directed for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondents not to take possession over the land in question where the Pucca house and several trees are standing over the land, when the petitioners are in possession of the land from the date of purchase and without considering the objections the acquisition order has been passed in most arbitrary. When the petitioners are living with their family members in the said house, save and except in accordance with the law."

3. Mr. Nirmal Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner in the presence of learned State counsel submits that with the passage of time, the writ petition become infructuous.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
