The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Chandauti P.S.Case No.240 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 419,420,467 and 471 Indian Penal Code. One Ashok Kumar made complaint that on the basis of forged documents, the petitioner got his name mutated with regard to the lands by order passed in Case No.3678 of 1998. The District Magistrate ordered for enquiry and it transpired that the petitioner submitted forged sale deed and other documents for obtaining an order of mutation in his name. It is submitted that if any forged sale deed is produced, the informant should have filed his petition before the Registrar. The petitioner has enmity with the revenue clerk as he got the name of his wife mutated with regard to the land of the petitioner and it was the handiwork of the same revenue clerk and

On consideration of the facts that after thorough enquiry, it was found that the petitioner submitted forged documents in order to get the land of others mutated in his name, hence I am not inclined to release the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
