The petitioner has filed the present writ petition assailing the validity and correctness of the enquiry report (Annexure-1) submitted in a departmental proceeding initiated against him.

Indisputably, now final order has been passed in the aforesaid departmental proceeding and the petitioner has been awarded punishment of dismissal from service. In that view of the matter, this writ petition has become infructuous and is, accordingly, dismissed.

However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to challenge the validity and correctness of the aforesaid final order passed by the disciplinary authority before an appropriate forum/ court or he may seek any other relief that may be admissible to him before that forum/court.
