This is an application seeking anticipatory bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The petitioner is the brother of the husband of the petitioner.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the allegation of demand of dowry is general and omnibus and there is no such allegation against the present petitioner. He has also submitted that there is no specific allegation of any overt act against the petitioner. He has further

In view of the submission as above, let the petitioner above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Udwant Nagar P.S. Case No. 401 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
