The petitioner seeks bail in Nabinagar P.S. Case No. 40/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) and 38 of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016. One Surendra Singh was apprehended and from his possession 150 pcs. each containing 200 m.l. pouch of countrymade liquor were recovered. Surendra Singh is said to have disclosed that he brought the country-made liquor from Jharkhand and that belongs to Ashok Singh (petitioner), for that the petitioner Ashok Singh is in jail since 30.03.2017. The petitioner has remained in jail for three months.
Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27840 of 2017 (2) dt.30-06-2017 of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Ist, Aurangabad in connection with Nabinagar P.S. Case No. 40/2017.
