The petitioner has been in custody since 23.02.2018 in connection with Gardanibagh P.S. Case No. 53/2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 417/420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is allegation of impersonation against the present petitioner as the thumb impression taken at the time of written test, through biometric process, does not match with the thumb impression of the petitioner which is wholly misconceived. It is further submitted that several persons have been named as having impersonated in the written test which was being conducted for appointment to the post of constables. Such persons who have

No. 21955 of 2018. Considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case and petitioner has been similarly placed and also that he has no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Judge, XIV-cum-A.C.J.M., Patna, in connection with Gardanibagh P.S. Case No. 53/2018.
