2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Khutauna P.S. Case No. 90 of 2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 409 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Allegedly, the petitioner being cashier of Central Bank of India, Khutauna Bazar Branch, embezelled Rs. 13,51,142/- deposited by the customers.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20868 of 2024(3) dt.01-07-2024 2/2 this case. The petitioner is a person of clean antecedent. He is a cashier and the specific allegation is that he deposited Rs. 10 lacs in his own account instead of depositing the same in the accounts of customers. He has further submitted that the entire amount was subsequently deposited to the account of the customers.

5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the informant have opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-Ist Class, Jhanjharpur in connection with Khutauna P.S. Case No. 90 of 2023, subject to the following conditions:- (i) The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
