In compliance of the order dated 20.07.2016, the District Provident Fund Officer, Patna is present. It has been stated by him that since the order dated 20.07.2016, for some reason could not be communicated to him, he could not examine the claim of the petitioner as regards deduction made from his salary against General Provident Fund for the period 1978 to 1982. He has submitted that by all means, said grievance of the petitioner shall be looked into and redressed as permissible under the law, within a period of one month from today.

Patna High Court CWJC No.7025 of 2014 dt.08-08-2016 Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner should have the liberty to approach the concerned authority with respect to non-payment/less payment of amount against some of the other heads. Considering the above, this application is disposed of with a direction to the District Provident Fund Officer, Patna to ensure that Provident Fund amount of the petitioner for the period 1978 to 1982 is reconciled and entire payment is made to him within a period of one month from today. It goes without saying that the said amount shall carry uptodate statutory interest in accordance with law. The petitioner shall have liberty as sought for as indicated above, on his behalf, in relation to remaining grievance, if any.
