The petitioner seeks bail in Sadar P.S. Case No. 198/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

One Ranjeet Kumar Sah @ Nawab was apprehended who disclosed that he distributed the liquor to different persons including the petitioner. The shop of the petitioner was searched and about 49 litres of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered, for that the petitioner is in jail since 21.04.2017. The petitioner has already remained in jail for more than two months. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond
