2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Manihari P.S. Case No. 260 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 341, 323, 307, 379, 324, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the allegation against the petitioner is of assaulting the victim which caused him simple injury.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he is in custody since 16.1.2024.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in connection with Manihari P.S. Case No. 260 of 2023.
